01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Yverdon-les-Bains, Ciao Ciao is a delightful pizza restaurant that promises an authentic Italian dining experience with a Swiss twist. Nestled on Rue des Pêcheurs 4, this cozy eatery is renowned for its enormous, mouthwatering pizzas that extend well beyond the edges of your plate, delivering both generous portions and incredible value.

The extensive menu at Ciao Ciao boasts over 20 different pizza varieties, catering to every palate — from classic Margherita to more adventurous toppings that showcase fresh, vibrant ingredients. Each pizza arrives with a perfectly crisp crust, a subtle smoky char, and a seductive blend of gooey mozzarella and robust tomato sauce that instantly awakens the senses. Beyond pizzas, the dessert selection, praised for its authentic Italian flavors, offers a sweet conclusion that's impossible to resist.

Stepping inside, diners will find a warm, welcoming atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff who make every visit feel personal and special. The modest exterior may not reveal the lively and bustling vibe within, particularly on Saturday evenings when locals gather, signaling that Ciao Ciao has earned its reputation through sheer culinary merit.

Customers consistently praise the friendly service and outstanding value. For example, Joe Khallouf highlights the “great value for price” and “generous portion size,” while Arnaud Pretre raves about how the pizzas are “bigger than your plate” and accompanied by an “exhaustive choice.” Similarly, J WV appreciates the “really good pizza with really good price” and the “super nice staff,” making it clear that this spot is a must-visit for pizza lovers.

Whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway, as noted by P Marsh who experienced “quick take away service while we waited,” or settling in for a leisurely meal, Ciao Ciao provides a reliably delicious and satisfying pizza experience infused with genuine Italian passion right in the heart of Switzerland.

Excellent pizza at reasonable price. Very good italian deserts. Lots of local people on Saturday evening - they may not be wrong Don't be misled by modest look of the place seen from outside

Well know by their pizzas. The service is sometimes slow but it is because of the crowd that comes to eat to this local. Maybe kinda small for the forum space but a really notable place.

They have a great variety of Pizza, I would guess it is 35+. The Pizza was super large and made in a stone oven. They were so kind to offer me a seat, although I was the last guest due to the bad weather outside. Thank you!
